EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE

ADJUSTING THE TRACTION COMMAND CABLE

When it is necessary, tighten the traction control cable.
To carry out the adjustment, loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting nut.
Check the correct tightening, operating the traction control lever.
Screw the lock nut
CHECKING OF BATTERIES WITH ACID
Please perform a periodical control of the electrolyte level inside the battery.
Disassemble the cowling and open cell plugs: when required top the cells
using distilled water.
The electrolyte level has to be roughly 10÷15 mm over the electrode.
After filling up, close the cells with the caps and clean the upper surface of the
battery.
Be extremely careful ! The battery's liquid is corrosive. If it comes in
contact with the skin or the eyes, wash repeatedly with water and consult

RECHARGE

External battery charger
turn off the machine by means of the main key;
recharge has to be performed in a properly ventilated area;
connect the appropriate battery charger to the prearranged tap (1).
connect the battery charger to the mains (the mains voltage level and
the frequency have to match the corresponding levels that are
applicable for the battery charger).
When fully loaded: disconnect from the electrical plug and battery
