1. Only clean the device with a clean, dry cloth!

Pull out the plug on the device from the socket before cleaning. When cleaning, never use liquid detergents
or cleaning sprays, only a damp cloth.

Only use accessories provided by the manufacturer.
3. Never use this device near water

The device should never be used near water droplets or sprays – for example, near bathrooms, washbasins,
the kitchen sink, washing machine, in a damp cellar or near a swimming pool etc. Never place receptacles full of
fluid on top of the device, for example, vases of flowers.
4. Ventilation

The slits and openings in the housing are designed to ventilate the device to ensure it works reliably and to
protect it from overheating and potentially bursting into flames. Do not block the ventilation holes. Install the
device according to the manufacturer's instructions. Never block the ventilation holes by placing the device on a
bed, sofa, rug, or similar soft surface. The device should not be installed in a bookcase or built-in cupboard if
there is insufficient ventilation, as described in the manufacturer's installation guide.
5. Power supply

This device can only be connected to the mains power voltage specified on the device. If you are not sure
about the type of power supply in your home, contact your dealer or your local energy provider.

Make sure nobody can trip over the power cable and that, if near a socket, it cannot become trapped by
additional sockets. Never crush the power cord that protrudes from the device.

Disconnect the device from the power supply if there is a storm or if it is not being used for a long period of
time.

Never overload mains sockets, extension cables or multiple socket outlets as this could lead to a risk of fire or
electric shock.
9. The ingress of foreign bodies or fluids

Make sure that no foreign bodies or fluids can get into this device through the ventilation holes, as these
could make contact with high-voltage components or cause a short-circuit, leading to a fire or electric shock.
Never spill any kind of liquid on this device.
