Cottons
HygieneDry
Use for - Cottons and linen fabric which will be in direct contact with the
skin, e.g. underwear, baby clothes, bed linen, towelling
- Other hard-wearing items with specific hygiene requirements
Tip Use for special hygiene requirements.
Extra dry, Normal
Use for Single and multi-layered cotton items, e.g. T-shirts, underwear, baby
clothes, workwear, jackets, covers, aprons, overalls, hand towels,
bath towels, bathrobes and flannelette/bed linen
Tip - Select Extra dry for multi-layered and very thick fabrics.
- Do not use Extra dry for jersey fabrics (e.g. T-shirts, underwear,
baby clothes) because they can shrink.
Hand iron
Use for All cotton or linen fabrics requiring further processing, e.g. table
linen, bed linen or starched laundry.
Minimum iron
HygieneDry, Normal, Hand iron
Use for Minimum iron fabrics made of synthetic, cotton or mixed fibre, e.g.
workwear, overalls, pullovers, dresses, trousers and table linen.
Tip Use HygieneDry for special hygiene requirements.
Delicates
Normal, Hand iron
Delicate items with the  symbol on the care label made of syn-
Use for
thetic fibre, mixed fibre, rayon, and easy care cotton. For example,
shirts, blouses, lingerie, and appliquéd garments.
Tip The load should be reduced further for a particularly crease-free dry-
ing process.
