Do not use this humidifier

when you have used
indoor smoke-type insect
repellents or in places
with oily residues, burning
incense, or chemical
fumes.
Caution
A loose fit between the

AC outlet (receptacle)
and plug may cause
overheating and a
distortion of the humidifier
plug. Contact a qualified
electrician to replace loose
or worn outlet.
Place the humidifier on a
•
flat, horizontal and stable
surface that is not sensitive
to humidity. Do not place
the humidifier on any
wooden furniture, or on
or near electronics or any
other electrical appliance.
Do not place anything on
•
top of the humidifier and
do not sit on the humidifier.
Make sure that the
•
humidifier is assembled/
connected properly after
you clean it or after you
remove the upper cover
and/or reservoir for refilling.

Only use the original

Philips filter specially
intended for this humidifier.
Do not use any other filter.
Avoid knocking any parts
•
of the humidifier with hard
objects.
Do not fill water into the
•
air outlets on top of the
humidifier.
Locate the humidifier on
•
an inside wall, near an
electrical outlet, at least
4in./10cm away from the
wall. Do not direct moisture
flow directly at individuals,
walls or furniture.
Place the humidifier
•
properly to prevent
children from knocking
it over or tripping on the
power cord.
Do not use the humidifier
•
in a room with major
temperature changes,
as this may cause
condensation inside the
humidifier.
If the humidifier will not
•
be used for a long period
of time, unplug from the
electrical outlet, clean
the reservoir and filter
(see section 'Clean your
humidifier').
