1.
Load A4 plain paper (& page 15).
2.
Place your original on the document table
(& "Placing Originals on the Document Table"
on page 17).
3.
Make the following settings on the control panel.
Icon panel
Press the r [r Copy] button.
Use the numeric button to select the number of copies
(1 to 99).
Copies:2 100%
Select l [Plain Paper].
Select A4.
Tip:
If you want to automatically resize the copy to the size of
paper that you loaded, press the r [r Copy] button until you
see Copies:xx FitPage on the LCD screen.
Copies:1 FitPage
Press the x Start D [x Start B&W] button to make a black and
white copy. Press the x Start E [x Start Color] button to
make a color copy.
If you need to stop copying, press the y Stop
[y Cancel/Back] button.
Note:
If the edges of the copy are cropped off, move the original away
from the corner slightly.
Speeding Up Copying
If you want to make a copy quickly and do not need
high quality, you can print a "draft" copy. The print
quality is reduced, but the copy is printed faster.
1.
Load A4-size plain paper and select l [Plain
Paper] and A4 on the control panel.
2.
When you are ready to copy, press and hold down
the y Stop [y Cancel/Back] button, then press
and hold down the x Start E [x Start Color]
button (to copy in color) or the x Start D [x Start
B&W] button (to copy in black and white).

When the On light flashes, release both buttons.
Note:
For draft copies, black and color ink are mixed, even for
black-and-white copies.

1.
Load photo paper (& page 15).
2.
Place your original on the document table
(& "Placing Originals on the Document Table"
on page 17).
3.
Make the following settings on the control panel.
Icon panel
Press the r [r Copy] button.
Use the numeric keypad to select the number of copies
(1 to 99).
Select g [Photo Paper].
Select the paper size you loaded.
Tip:
If you want to automatically resize the copy to the size of
paper that you loaded, press the r [r Copy] button until you
see Copies:xx FitPage on the LCD screen.

Press the x Start E [x Start Color] button to make a color
copy.
If you need to stop copying, press the y Stop
[y Cancel/Back] button.
