My shredder doesn’t start either by putting paper in the feed or by switching it to forward or reverse. The power light is on. The basket switch seems to be functioning properly as the indicator light comes on when removed and goes out when re inserted. The paper sensor seems to be working as I can hear a “click” when I put paper in the slot but the head doesn’t start. The overfull switch functions when manually activated. It hasn’t been run for about two weeks because we moved so there’s no over heat issue nor is the light on. What else could I check?
