OSD / On Screen Display menu
Point the remote control at the unit and press the
MENU button.
The menu at right will appear.
Pressing ENTER while the FILE BROWSER is
highlighted will bring up this menu and allow you to
directly launch any content that is locally stored on
the unit SD card (or USB if inserted). Media must be
stored in the proper folders on the storage device
in order for it to be visible on this menu.
The PLAYLIST folder contains playlists that have
been created and stored on the internal drive (SD or
Hard Drive). Pressing play will sequentially play all
files in that playlist one time. If the playlist was
created with a loop command at the end, the files will
loop around and play again continuously.
The Video folder contains individual video files.
Pressing play on one of these files will cause them to
play one time.
HTML, Picture, and Audio work similar to the Video
folder function with the corresponding formats. One
key feature of the HTML layer is the ability to display
HTML graphic elements and call a video to play
within the HTML page.
Going back to the main menu screen and pressing
Information will show you the present firmware and
software revisions as well as the current Network
configuration.
If there is a RF cable connected with an active tuner
channel, the Tuner Signal Strength indicator will
show a relative indication of the RF signal on this
particular channel.
