    TermalVap è un inalatore termale dotato di caldaia in acciaio, all’interno della quale, funziona una resistenza ad alimentazione elettrica 230V. L’apparecchio svi- luppa vapore caldo umido che, per mezzo di uno spruzzatore sfruttante il principio Venturi, è in grado di miscelare il vapore sviluppato dalla propria caldaia con i prin- cipi di acque termali posti all’esterno dell’apparecchio.

  • Page 14 PULIZIA ACCESSORI Effettuare le operazioni di pulizia come riportate qui sotto. Pulizia dell’ampolla convoglia vapore (1): Estrarre l’ampolla convoglia vapore dalla sede dell’ugello nebulizzatore (2) svitando la vite di fissaggio (4). Immergere l’ampolla in un comune anticalcare liquido, e la- sciare che questo agisca fino alla completa scomparsa di depositi calcarei.

    ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO 1. Il dispositivo va controllato prima di ogni utilizzo in modo da poter rilevare ano- malie di funzionamento e/o danni dovuti al trasporto e all’immagazzinamento. 2. Durante l’inalazione il paziente deve sedere in posizione eretta e rilassato ad un ta- volo e non in poltrona, posizionando il dispositivo su una superficie piana e stabile.

  • Page 17 CONTROLLO PERIODICO DI MANUTENZIONE L’apparecchio TermalVap non ha alcuna parte che necessiti di manutenzione e/o lubrificazione (escluse le operazioni di pulizia). Occorre tuttavia effettuare alcuni semplici controlli per la verifica della funzionalità e della sicurezza dell’apparecchio prima di ogni utilizzo.

    CLEANING THE ACCESSORIES Carry out the cleaning operations as indicated below. Cleaning the steam conveying nebuliser cup (1): Extract the steam conveying nebuliser cup from the nebuliser cup nozzle seat (2) unscrewing the fixing screw (4). Submerge the nebuliser cup in a common anti- lime scale liquid and allow it to work until the lime scale deposits disappear com- pletely.
  • Page 32 2. During inhalation the patient must sit in an upright and relaxed position at a table and not in an armchair, positioning the appliance on a flat and stable surface. 3. Remember not to hold the appliance in your hand during treatment and / or to avoid prolonged body contact with the appliance.

Once the treatment is over position the switch to 0 and remove the plug from the mains socket; Before opening the valve and emptying the boiler wait until the appliance is completely cooled. Then, once the bottle has been removed, remove the accessories (separate the sprayer nebuliser cup and the underwa- ter tube), unscrew the safety cap and empty the residual water from the boiler.

    PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CHECK The TermalVap appliance has no parts that require maintenance and/or lubrication (except for cleaning operations). Nevertheless, some simple checks must be car- ried out in order to verify operation and safety of the appliance before each use.
