  • Page 30 Change-over of flight conditions (powered or gliding flight) General: Because of the special propulsion concept the flight characteristics of the STEMME S10 alter only very minimal when the configuration is changed from powered to gliding flight or vice-versa. Regardless of the high reliability one should not depend solely on the propulsion system. Principally the aircraft should be flown during gliding flight with the same safety strategy with regard to outlandings as if no propulsion system were available.
