Battery Installation - Zenith ZP305MH Owner's Manual

Introduction
This Universal Remote Control can operate three types
of devices: TV, DVD, CBL or SAT. Programming can
be done by inputting a code or by using a code search
option.

Battery Installation

1. Lift the battery cover on the back of the unit.
2. Insert two new "AAA" size batteries, correctly
aligning the (+/-) with the indications in the Battery
Compartment.
3. Press the battery cover back in place.
Programming
1. While programming, always keep the remote aimed
at the device.
2. After successful programming, record the code for
future reference.
3. During programming, the Power Indicator Light
will flash twice and programming will stop if: a. 30
seconds elapse and no button is pressed.
Direct Code Entry
1. Turn on the device you wish to program for use with
this remote.
2. In the "Codes List" section, locate the code(s) for your
device and brand. a. Point the remote at the device
and press and hold the corresponding Device Button
until the red Power Indicator Light stays on. Release
the Device Button. b. Enter the first four-digit code in
the list of codes. Note: After a correct code entry the
red Power Indicator Light will shut off. c. Press the
Power Button on the remote. If the device shuts off,
the programming was successful. Test other buttons
on the remote to ensure total success. If the device
does not shut off, or if all of the other buttons do not
work correctly, go back to step (a) and continue with
the next code in the list of codes.
3. Many brands will have more than one code listed.
You may have to input multiple codes before pro-
gramming is totally successful.
4. If your brand of device is not listed, try one of the
Code Search options below.
