MOVING LOADS AND DOING WORK

Proper Rigging

Your winch can help you perform a number of different tasks. Rigging accessories
are recommended to perform adequate and safe usage of your winch. To prevent
possible injury, follow the instructions and warnings from the rigging accessory
manufacturer. Always respect the load limits.
Always be aware that inappropriate rigging may result in serious injury or death.
Among all rigging equipment available, you should consider having at least the fol-
lowing equipment on your vehicle.
– Winch remote
– Sling
– Pulley block
– Tree protection strap
– Shackles
Adequate rigging helps avoid rope breaking out or releasing from anchor
point.
Pulling your vehicle from a fix point
The selection of an appropriate anchor point is critical to avoid an accident.
Pulling an object or using your vehicle as a recovery vehicle
Safely securing your vehicle to avoid movement is critical to avoid an acci-
dent.

Winching

Do not exceed the load limits of the winch.
