Maintenance Schedule

Maintenance Schedule is also located on back side of dust cup.

DUST CUP – Empty after each use
Press lever to release bottom lid.
Debris will empty.
FILTER DCF21 – Replace or clean regularly with filter brush to maintain suction
Empty cup. Pull back
latch to lift off lid.
Remove screen. Rinse
screen, filter and
dust cup. Dry thoroughly.
EXHAUST FILTER EF6 – Replace within 6 months
Remove dust cup. Press down tab and
remove filter cover.
BELT EXT-U – Replace worn, cut or out of shape belt
Upper cord retainer
Upper hose retainer
Dusting brush
Carry handle and cord wrap
Lower cord retainer
(on carry handle)
Power cord
Quick release cord wrap
Lower hose retainer

Close bottom lid
until it clicks.
For quick clean: tap filter. To clean thoroughly: grasp
filter and twist to remove from lid. Brush off debris.
Align tab with slot to
Reinstall filter. Align lid
reinstall screen.
at front; press down until
lid snaps into place.
Lift out filter and replace. Reinstall
cover and snap into place.
BRUSH ROLL – Clean monthly
