325Ci Basket Full System
An Ambient Light Sensor Module monitors the contents of the waste bin.
•
The motor will stop when the sensor determines that the waste bin is full, and the shredder
will not operate until the waste bin is emptied
•
The bin full icon on the indicator panel will illuminate advising bin to be emptied
•
The bin full module is located at the front, right side of the cabinet shelf, just behind the
main PC board
•
A wire harness connects this module to the control panel PC board on the housing cover
To replace the bin full module:
6. Unplug the module's wire harness from the control panel PC board.
7. Remove the 4 screws that hold the bin full module assembly to the cabinet shelf.
8. Lift the old module out of the cabinet.
9. Install the new bin full module.
10. Plug the new module's wire harness into the control panel PC board. Replace the housing
cover (see wiring diagrams).

Door Open Switch

•
The door open switch senses whether the cabinet door is opened or closed
•
The shredder motor will not activate until the door is closed properly
•
The switch is attached to a small ledge on the front of the cabinet
•
Three (3) wires connect the switch to the main PC board
•
If the switch is working, you will hear a clicking sound when the door is opened and closed
To replace the door open switch:
1. Disconnect the 3 wires plug that connects the switch to the main PC board.
2. Remove the 2 screws that hold the switch to the cabinet.
3. Secure the new switch to the cabinet.
4. Plug the new switch wires into the main PC board.
CAUTION! To prevent electrical shock, make sure the shredder is disconnected from the power
source before performing any electrical repairs.
