  • Page 2 Safety 1. Carefully read the Operator’s Manual which comes with the mower. Many of the safety warnings for the three point version are applicable for the Engine Driven model as well. 2. When making tight turns with the C30-CE5 mower, do not allow pull hitch to ride up on rear tractor or ATV tires.
  • Page 3 (with the rope attached) fall off the side of the lawn tractor or ATV. If the mower’s engine does not cut off, adjust and retest until corrected. This feature of the C30-CE5 mowers is to ensure the safety of the operator in case he/she is thrown from the seat.
  • Page 4 spindle pulley. The belt deflection should be between 3.2 and 6.4mm (1/8” to 1/4”). 5. If the belt is within this range reinstall the belt shield and replace the 10mm bolts. If the belt deflects more than 6.4mm (1/4”), tighten the belt by loosening the four engine nuts and turn the adjustment bolt clockwise until the belt is within the specified range.
