Quilting

Sandwich batting between the top and bottom layers of fabric is call "Quilting". The
top layer is usually formed by multiple geometrically shaped pieces of materials joined
together.

Using the all purpose foot with edge/quilting
guide.
v Using the edge/quilting guide
Attach the edge/quilting guide in the presser
foot holder as illustrated and set the space as
you desire.
Sew the first row and move over the fabric
to sew successive rows with the guide riding
along the previous row of stitching.
Using the all purpose foot.
v Joining the pieces of the fabric
Place the two pieces of fabric with the right
side together and sew with the straight stitch.
Join the pieces of fabric with a seam
allowance of 5mm.
Sew with the side of the presser foot aligned
with the edge of the fabric.
