    • The personal computer to be used to change the LPV2-WS11GC settings is referred to as the Setting PC. All rights for this manual are owned by BUFFALO. No part of it may be transmitted, reproduced or revised without expressed permission from BUFFALO.

  • Page 8 Overview of the LPV2 This section describes the features and operating environment of the LPV2. Features LPV2 is the wireless print server that allows printing from PCs on wireless LANs. It supports four protocols: NetBEUI, AppleTalk, TCP/IP and NetWare. If the ESS-ID is set for the wireless LAN to be used just install the printer driver for printing.

Select [Apple Menu] → [Selector] Select "LaserWriter8" Select "WS-xxxxxx-P1" Click "Setting" Please always select "LaserWriter8" for printing through LPV2 . Other printer driver will not work with LPV2 correctly.

If you have setup before, you will see the printer list.

  • Page 16 Printing from UNIX base Computer LPV2 is not able to be setup directly from UNIX base Computer. You need to use Windows base computer with Buffalo Wireless Client (WLI-PCM-L11G etc.) to setup the LPV2 to be able to Print from UNIX base Computer.
