Heated windshield system

To turn the heated windshield system
on, push the "HWS" switch. It operates
for about 15 minutes.
You can use the heated windshield system
when the "READY" light is on.
The heated windshield system will remove
interior fog or exterior snow or ice. An
indicator light is on while it is working. To
turn the system off, push the switch once
again.
NOTICE
z When the outside temperature is
more than about 30_C (86_F), the
heated windshield system does not
operate even with the
pushed.
z After interior fog, exterior snow or
ice is removed, turn the "HWS"
switch off quickly. Keeping the sys-
tem on will waste the auxiliary bat-
tery power.
z If the indicator light on the "HWS"
switch blinks, it indicates trouble in
the heated windshield system. Turn
the switch off and have your Toyota
checked by your EV service station.
