8. Set-Up

Installation of the device must be carried out by a specialist familiar with the hazards and the
relevant regulations. Maintenance, operation and commissioning of this device must only be
carried out by qualified persons.
When choosing a location for your device, make sure to avoid impact, vibration, dust, hot and
cold temperatures and dampness. Furthermore, no powerful transformers or motors must be
used close to the device.
When setting up the device, make sure that the power cord and the remote control cable are
not crushed and cannot be damaged by any sharp edges.
Do not drill or screw additional screws into the casing in order to fasten the device. This may
expose dangerous voltage to touch.
Never operate the device on flammable surfaces or close to flammable objects. Always keep
a distance of at least 3 m from flammable or potentially explosive objects.
Observe that the fog and soap bubble exit opening (6) is not pointed at persons, animals or open
flames. The escaping hot fog may cause burns (comply with a safety distance of 2 m).
Ensure a sufficient ventilation of the device, maintain a free zone of 0.5 m around the device and
never cover the ventilation openings.
Never place the device on an unstable underground. Ensure that it does not fall down and
cause injury.
The operating position of the device is horizontal so that the tanks cannot spill when filling and
in operation.
The device must be set up out of normal reach. If it is set up in an elevated location, make sure
no one can enter the space beneath the setup location (danger of slipping and injury through
hot fog liquid, soap bubble fluid and their residues).
During installation or service work, the area below the place of setup must be cordoned off.
The area or equipment of installation or setup must be designed in such a way that it can sup-
port the tenfold rated load for at least one hour without being deformed permanently.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety restraint that is
independent of the actual mounting supports when installing it in an elevated position. No part
of the installation must fall down if the main suspension system fails.
All statutory regulations applicable in the respective country must be observed when instal-
ling and setting up the device.
