Instruction manual for Terrestrial Multiband Amplifier GNS 34
Description and application advice
GNS 34 is a Multiband amplifier for selective connecting and separate amplification of input signals
from each aerial for reception respectively FM-Radio (VHF-Band II), DAB-Radio (VHF-Band III) and
DVB-T/T2 television (UHF-Band). The entire output signal drives a MATV plant directly or can be
combine with SAT-IF distribution equipment like a multi-switch unit.
The UHF band is limited at frequencies upper 694 MHz by integrated filters for rejection
of ingress from LTE 700and 800 mobile phone transmission.
Switchable remote feeding +24V. via the UHF port for supplying of a mast pre-amplifier.
The high output level of 113dBµV for about five DVB-T MUX channels should definitely
not be exceed.
Therefor the level of each input can be adjust by the level controllers of the device and
should be measure with an antenna level meter at the output of the GNS 34.
