1-2 DESCRIPTION

The TD-1100, Figure 1-1, is designed for turf main-
tenance applications where a high quality of cut on
turf grasses is required.
The caster wheel arrangement along with the flexi-
ble, floating deck attachment and the standard front
mounted rollers, all work together to give an even
cut and minimize scalping.
NOTE: The inside rear wheel on the wing mower
decks and both the front wheels on the rear mower
deck are rigidly mounted and are not designed to
caster.
Power from the tractor is transmitted through a
telescoping driveline to a belt drive and gearbox
arrangement which allows either wing unit to be fold-
ed up to 30° while still operating. Power is passed to
the spindle housings by a B-section, Kevlar reinforced
belt. Drivetrain protection is provided by belt slip-
page.
