Installation instructions

Safety notes

Installation should only be performed by qualifi ed personnel.
Loewe will accept no liability for damage due to improper
installation.
Install the set so that it cannot be damaged by children
playing or endanger them.
Lay the connecting cables so that no-one can trip over them.
Wall mounts (and suitable adapter) are designed exclusively
for mounting on vertical walls. They may only be used for this
purpose.
Never reach or let anyone reach into the area of the angled
sections (support rails) on the TV set mounted on the wall.
Danger of crushing.
In addition, the safety notes for our TV sets are also valid
here.
Assembly
You are responsible for the load bearing capacity of the wall
and the fastening of the wall holder.
Buy suitable fastening materials for your wall from your
dealer.
Ask a building expert for advice if necessary.
Makes sure that there are no wires / pipes below the surface
when you drill the holes.
See sketches 1 to 4.

Sketch 4: Mounting on the wall
The data in sketch 4 for fastening the wall mount (angled section
arrow A and B) refer to a brick wall.
The distance (external dimension) for the mounted angled sections
must be 611 mm.
TV set, remove base, attach spacer and cable clip
Pull the mains plug out of the socket before working on the TV set.
Place the TV set down on a piece of felt or a soft blanket. This pro-
tects your TV against possible damage.
Place the TV set face down so that the base of the TV set is not
touching the felt or blanket.
Using the wrench provided (fi g. 1, SW5), loosen and remove the 2
screws (sketch 2, arrows C).
Pull the base off the TV in the direction of the arrow (sketch 2).
You do not need the removed screws (sketch 2, reference line S)
with sleeves (sketch 2, reference line H) for the WM 54.
Remove the backing foil from the adhesive surfaces of the two
spacers (sketch 2, arrow D).
Stick the spacers (sketch 2 / 3, arrows D) to the rear panel as shown.
Stick the cable clip (sketch 2 / 3, arrow K) to the cross member on
the TV set as shown.
Connecting the plug to the TV set
You will fi nd some of the used connections illustrated in sketch 3.

Arrow a1 = connecting sockets for antenna / sat
Arrows a2 = AV 1 plug / AV 2 plug
Arrow a3 = mains connection
You will fi nd further help in the operating manual.
Fixing the cables
Fix the cables in the cable clip at the position on the TV set shown in
sketch 3, arrow K.
Hanging the TV set on the wall holder
Depending on the type, your TV set may weigh up to approx. 41 kg.
To hang in the TV set, hold it tilted back at an angle of about 30°
(see sketch 4).
Hang the TV into the hooks (sketch 4, arrows).
It can only be unhooked (removed from the hooks of the wall
mount) by pulling the bottom of the TV set about 30° away from
the wall.
