Attach the inverted plate to the rotating hub by tightening with the (4) plate bolts (Fig. 8). - Page 6 S T E P 3 Opening Umbrella From closed position, turn the crank clockwise while disengaging main frame grip handle and guiding up main frame (Fig. 12), until the umbrella is fully opened (Fig. 13) and the hub is at the top most position (Fig. 14). Tilt umbrella to desired position.

Use ties to secure canopy to the main frame when umbrella is not in use.
