INTRODUCTION
JBL PD6000 Series presets are designed to provide optimum system performance for the PD6000 Series
loudspeakers when used with Crown I-Tech HD, I-Tech 4x3500HD and DriveCore Install Network Series
(DCiN) amplifiers.
Disclaimer: PD6000 limiter settings are intended to provide a starting point for optimum system
performance while ensuring reliable system protection. The end user is, however, ultimately
responsible for system operation in the field and standard warranty conditions apply in the event of
component damage.
PROGRAMMING GUIDELINES
Before downloading the PD6000 device and speaker tuning files, please check for the latest version of
HiQnet Audio Architect Software on
After downloading and installing Audio Architect software, JBL PD6000 device files are located in the
following directory:
\\My Documents\Harman Pro\JBLDeviceFilesAndPreset–AA1.XX\InstalledSound\PD6000 Series

To load presets into your I-Tech HD amplifier, it is possible to copy the device file onto a USB key and
manually load the entire device file or individual presets from the front panel of the unit. Please see
your Crown I-Tech HD manual for complete details.
Presets can also be downloaded using Audio Architect or by establishing network connectivity then
performing the following steps:
Audio Architect:
1) Wait for Audio Architect to discover the devices (as indicated in Venue Explorer to the left of the
venue):
a. If auto-populate is enabled, wait for the venue to populate with the discovered devices
b. If auto-populate is not enabled, drag and drop the discovered devices into the venue
from the Venue Explorer
2) Double-click the I-Tech HD power amplifier to be programmed
3) On the amplifier menu bar, select: File / Open / Device File
4) Navigate to the 'PD6000 Series' device file folder
5) Select the device file suitable for your application:
6) 'Name Change' panel opens: If you wish to update the amplifier name, select 'Replace'
7) Go online by selecting 'Go Online' on the top ribbon under 'Offline Design'. (Note: if you are
already online, the device file will load automatically)
8) Select 'S' (send) for the relevant amplifier to send DSP setting to the device.
