TAPS SD910, SD915, SD920
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This series of taps SD910, SD915 SD920 is intended for use in 9 cables cascaded type satellite and terrestrial TV distribution
networks. Each tap has different tap loss parameter and their proper arrangement in network allows to equalize signal strength
on every tap output.
The taps meet shielding requirements of class A according standard EN 50083-2.
The taps are intended for indoor use only.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Installation of the taps must be done according IEC60728-11 and national safety standards.
Any repairs must be done by a qualified personnel.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on tap.
MOUNTING
The taps must be fixed with steel screws Ø 4-5 mm. The screws are not included in a package.
OPERATING
Every tap SD910, SD915, SD920 consists of 9 separate highly isolated taps for 8 SAT TV and 1 terrestrial TV lines.
Connectors on taps can accept cables with central pin diameter up to 1.2 mm.
Terrestrial TV tap has DC through pass.
All paths of SAT TV trunk lines have DC through pass.
Horizontal polarization lines can be used for feeding multiswitches connected to the tap outputs. Voltage for this purpose
can be directed by switch on the side of tap.
Vertical polarization lines have no pass to the tap outputs. Below are diagrams demonstrating DC pass through taps.
