The following sequences explain the
pruper operation o f your convertible
top. Follow these instructions and be

If your Comette suffers a power loss,
such as a "dead battery," you can still
open the storage: compartnient by using
the manual release handles located
behind the safety
belt anchors on each
side of
your
vehicle.
Locating the release handles may be
difficult. Reach up
and
behind the safety
belt anchors; you will find a releas-e
handle near the sidewall and behind thi-
safety
belt .anchor on each side of your
vehicle. Move the handle toward the
rear of the vehicle and upward,
as
shown in the illustration above.
