Why is the Power light on my machine flashing? And why is the machine making a high-pitched whining noise?

The flashing power light and high-pitched whining noise on the Netta OL12-B015E dehumidifier may indicate an operational issue that needs attention. Based on the manual's troubleshooting section and operational guidelines, here are the most likely causes:

### 1. Flashing Power Light
- Water Tank Full: If the Water Full LED (red) is also lit, the water tank is full. The unit will stop operating and the power light may flash to indicate this condition.
Solution: Empty the water tank and reinstall it correctly.

- Improper Power Connection: The unit may not be securely plugged into the wall outlet, or there may be a voltage mismatch.
Solution: Ensure the power cord is firmly inserted and the power source matches the unit’s requirements.

- Temperature Outside Operating Range: The unit operates between 5–35°C. If the room temperature is outside this range, the unit may not function properly and the power light may flash.
Solution: Check that the room temperature is within the allowed range.

### 2. High-Pitched Whining Noise
- Blocked Air Duct or Dirty Filter: An obstructed air duct or dirty filter can cause strain on the fan motor, which may produce a high-pitched noise.
Solution: Inspect and clean the air filter; ensure the air duct is clear of obstructions.

- Fan or Motor Malfunction: A whining noise could also indicate an internal mechanical issue such as a failing motor or fan bearing.
Solution: If cleaning doesn’t resolve the noise, the unit may require professional inspection or servicing.

R290 has no damaging influence on the ozone layer (ODP), a negligible greenhouse effect (GWP) and is available worldwide.
