    1. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION The high-temperature heat pump WP Grid-HiQ CF06 is suitable for use in district heating networks with varying temperatures in the range of 10 to 55 °C. This flexibility is achieved by a patented process that enables the system to always reach the optimum operating point despite a changing source temperature.

The heat pump is only intended for the preparation of hot water and the generation of heat and cold in residential and / or non-residential buildings.

HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION 5.4 INSTALLATION GUIDE The machine is delivered on a pallet in two parts: • storage module (200 litres of buffer storage including FriWa and 24 litres MAG) • hydraulic module + cooling unit For easier transport, the refrigeration unit (approx. 80 kg) can be removed from the hydraulic module.

Please ensure that the cooling unit is centred so that it does not touch the outer housing during operation. It is recommended to reinsert the cooling circuit at the end of the leak test.

    Prerequisite for a lengthy operational readiness, operational safety and for a high reliability are maintenances of the device on a regular basis by an accepted, qualified and by ratiotherm authorised technician. We suggest to execute the maintenance once a year.

MAINTENANCE 11.3 TIGHTNESS CHECK Tightness check of the heat pump: According to the (EG) Nr. 842/2006 regulation (specific fluorinated greenhouse gases) the heat pump has to be checked for tightness regularly. This test can be done by a qualified technician (tested in refrigeration plant construction or certified technician with a specialisation in refrigeration technique).
  • Page 48 All acids and bases are dangerous substances and should be used with great care. Warranty ratiotherm offers a 12-month warranty from the date of installation, but in no case longer than 15 months after the date of delivery. The warranty only covers manufacturing and material defects.

    12. DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL When terminating the operation of the heat pump, the dismantling of the machine can only be done by qualified personnel.
