ZERO8 System Updater Ver 1.5
Update Instruction for Mac
The ZERO8 system update requires a FireWire cable and computer with the
update downloaded. Your system must be Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher.
Note:
At present, the updater is not compatible with OS X 10.4.10. It has been
successfully tested for use in OS x 10.4.9 and OS X 10.5

Checking the current version

1. Turn your ZERO8 on.
2.
Check the current ZERO8 version
appearing on the startup screen
(Figure 1).
3. Turn your ZERO8 off.

ZERO8 system update (Preparing the ZERO8)

1. With your ZERO8 turned off, connect
the FireWire cable to your Macintosh
machine and ZERO8.
2. While pressing and holding the EXT1
CUE and BANK C buttons shown in
Figure 2, power on your ZERO8.
3. Verify that the SYSTEM UPDATE
WAIT message flashes on the LCD.
4. Do not proceed until the FIREWIRE
LED shown in Figure 2 lights up.
