b) Creating the configuration file

• Connect the data logger to your computer.
• Launch the Voltsoft software and follow the operating instructions in the software manual (section 6 and choose
your supported device).
• After creating the configuration file, save it locally on your computer and copy the file to the data logger.
• Disconnect data logger from your computer.

12. Online configuration with the website

After inserting the battery, configure the data logger either with software or online through the website. Online configu-
ration does not require software installation.
When configuring, select logging parameters such as sample rate, start time, recording duration, pause function, LED
flash interval, enable/disable LC display, and PDF report settings.
There are three ways to open the configuration website:
• Open www.conrad.com in a browser and navigate to the product page using the article number of the data logger
(1931527). Click on the link for the configuration website to open the website.
• In an Internet browser, open the following Internet address: http://datalogger.voltcraft.com/ConfigBuilder/index.jsp
• Connect the data logger to your computer and wait until it has been connected as a removable disc. Open the data
logger drive on your computer. Click on the "Configuration Website.html" link to open it.

a) Overview of the configuration interface

The configuration interface consists of three areas.
General Settings:
At the top right, you can set languages by clicking on country flags. Click on your country flag to switch to the national
language.
Below, you can select the model type. Select type "DL-230L" from the list and click on it.
Measurement
In this area you can select all basic settings and logging parameters for the data logger.
PDF area options
In this area, you can enter all parameters for PDF report generation.
Storage options
You can use the three lower selection fields "Create Configuration", "Load Setting" and "Default" to save, load or reset
the configurations to defaults.
