Sound reduction only
If you want to use the headphones for sound reduction only proceed
as follows:
Slide the on/off switch

For mere sound reduction operation the following applies:
► The mute switching must be deactivated, that is to say, the
PLAY/MUTE button
phones is engaged (counter-sunk).
► The connection cable is not necessary.
► The volume control has no infl uence on the sound reduction it
is only used to control the audio source.
Switching to mute
With the mute switching you can carry on conversations without re-
moving the headphones. For this proceed as follows:
While you are listening to music press the PLAY/MUTE button
on the left ear cap
The audio input signal is interrupted and thus allows for a brief conver-
sation without removing the headphones.
