from the mains supply socket if

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your mixer for the first time, wash the beaters, dough
hooks, spatula and stainless steel bowl in warm, soapy water. Rinse
and dry thoroughly. Do not use harsh abrasives, chemicals or oven
cleaners. Using a damp cloth or sponge, wipe the exterior of the hand
mixer and mixer stand. Dry thoroughly.
USING ON THE STAND
1. Ensure that your mixer is unplugged from the supply socket and
the on/off switch is set to 0 (off). Press the mixer head lock release
button and raise the mixer stand head until it clicks (fig. A).
2. Position the stainless steel mixing bowl over the mixing bowl
turntable (fig. B).
3. Rotate the mixing bowl clockwise (towards the

6. Press the mixer head raise/lower button and lower the mixer head
into the bowl until the head clicks (fig. F).
7. Add the ingredients to the mixing bowl.
8. Plug your mixer into the mains supply socket.
9. Turn the on/off switch to the I (on) position then use the + button to
select the required speed setting. Adjust the speed as required with
the + and – buttons (fig. G). Use the bowl speed control to select
the appropriate bowl speed (0, 1 or 2).
10. Use the specially shaped spatula supplied to scrape any mixture
from around the sides of the bowl. Always stop your mixer before
scraping down the sides of the bowl.
