Peripheral devices may use Ethernet (TCP/IP) or RS232 connection address. In such a case, set <Module address> parameter to default value 1 in MW-01 and in the peripheral device. Upon modifying the communication parameters it is necessary to save changes and restart the mass converter in order to introduce all the modifications.

Fig. 23 Inputs and outputs state tab Inputs/outputs numbers in the software reflect numeration in the mass converter. Input/output on (high state). Input/output off (low state). Simulation of output operation is possible upon pressing output number. The output is immediately activated on condition that no other function is assigned to it.
Load the weighing pan steadily, avoid applying mechanical shocks. Place the loads centrally on the weighing pan (eccentricity errors are specified by EN 45501 standard, point 3.6.2). Do not apply concentrated force (total load in one point). Avoid side loading, in particular side shocks.
7.3. Taring To determine net weight value, load the weighing pan with a packaging, wait for a stable indication and press key or trigger taring function. Zero indication and the following pictograms are displayed: Net and The scale has been tared. Remember not to exceed the maximum capacity, i.e.

9. CHECKWEIGHING Checkweighing is a working mode using two thresholds (Min and Max) to control sample weight (LO - sample mass too small, HI - sample mass to large, OK - sample mass correct). Such solution enables fast evaluation of sample mass There is no need for constant control of the weighing result.
Procedure: Press <Min threshold> or <Max threshold> parameter window, enter the threshold value and press Enter. Press button to save the changes to ROM memory of the mass converter. 10. DOSING Dosing is a working mode enabling precise filling, wherein the filling takes as long as it is necessary to obtain the pre-defined target weight.
For description of the dosing mode and its parameters, go to section 6.4.1 of this user manual. 11. PARAMETERS IN FILE The „MwManager” software is equipped with option of saving set parameters to *.sav file. This function can be used to save mass converter settings as backup, in case of its malfunction and for further use of the parameters when configuring more mass converters.
Next, in the operating system window select directory where the file is to be saved and press button (by default: C:\Program Files\RADWAG\ MwManager\Save\). Fig. 28 'Save as' system window Correctly saved parameters result in displaying the following message: System window look depends on installed operating system version and can differ from the one presented in the Fig.

Selected elements are grouped according to their location in the main software menu. Correctly uploaded parameters result in displaying the following message: 12. OFFLINE MODE Offline mode enables running selected options of the software when there is no connected mass converter. This way of connection enables saving crucial parameters without the need to connect to the external equipment.
Procedure: Run the program, enter connection settings and select Offline parameter, press button. In the weighing result window, a message presented in the fig. 31 is displayed. Set parameters and save the configuration to the file, the description is to be found in point 11.1 of this user manual.
