1 Function keys
You can use these in place of the computer keyboard
for editing operations.
For details of the function of each key, refer to the BZNE-
2020 User's Guide.
2 Search dial
You can use this to control the playback direction and
speed of editing source devices in jog or shuttle
operation.
For details of operation, refer to the BZNE-2020 User's
Guide.
3 DC IN (6 V) connector (6-pin)
This is not used in the DNE-2000 system.

9 REF TC (reference time code) IN connector
(XLR 3-pin, upper female, lower male)
When the DNE-1000 is used in a system connected to
a server, connect the in-house reference time code
signal to the upper connector. The lower connector
provides a loop-through output of the same reference
signal.

4 MODE switch
4 MODE switch
Set this to the 1 position.
5 EDITOR connectors (XLR 15-pin, male, RS-
422A compliant)
Connect these to the PANEL connector of the DNE-
1000.
6 FADER PANEL connector (XLR 25-pin,
female)
Connect this to the CONTROL PANEL connector of
the BKNE-1011 Editing Fader Panel.
