Updating software

■ Precautions
• When accessing the Internet via data communication with the
product, data communication charge is incurred according to your
charging plan. Especially for OS update, a large amount of data
communication occurs.
• When a software update is needed, you are notified of on
au homepage etc. For details, contact au shop/au Style or
Customer Center (157/toll-free). Also, the customers who uses
OPPO Find X3 Pro may be received a notice from au when the
software update is needed so as to use OPPO Find X3 Pro in a
good condition.
• You are recommended to back up your data before updating
software.
• Charge the battery fully before updating. Software update may be
failed when the battery level is row or the battery is run out in the
middle of software update.
• Check the signal status. Software update may be failed in a place
where the signal reception is poor.
• If you fail or stop software update, perform the software update
again.
• If software update is failed, you may not be able to use the
product. When use of the product becomes impossible, bring it to
an au shop/au Style or Toyota store (except some shops).
• While using the product overseas, the software update function
may not be available.
• While updating the software, the product operations are not
available. Calls to 110 (police), 119 (fire services), 118 (Regional
Maritime Safety Headquarters), or 157 (Customer Center) are also
not available. Also, alarm etc. cannot work.
Downloading software and updating
You can directly download the update software on the product via
Internet.
From the Home screen, [Settings]
