Disassembly and Assembly Maintenance Steps General maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and blade replacement requires some disassembly and assembly of your ePruner. The cover is fastened to the pruner by 4 screws. The center bolt is secured with an adjustable gear nut which is locked into place by a gear nut clip. The gear nut clip is secured by a single bolt. - Page 16 3. Loosen gear nut with cresent wrench. 4. Remove adjustment gear nut. 5. Unscrew 4 cover screws with allen wrench. 6. Remove cover and disassemble blade set. 7. Apply grease to recess in blade. 8. Apply grease to gear teeth and center bolt hole.

11. Place gear nut on center bolt. 12. Tighten gear nut with cresent wrench. 13. Secure gear nut with clip and insert bolt. 14. Tighten gear nut clip bolt securing the centerbolt gear nut. Checking the Battery Charge Level To determine your ePruner battery charge level your ePruner is supplied with a simple to read LED readout which features 3 green and 1 red light. To illuminate the readout, hold the button down on the handle of the tool. The readout is located on the back of the handle. When all 3 green lights are illuminated then your battery is at or near full capacity. -
