The following image indicates the location of the 2230 solid-state drive that is installed in M.2 slot and provides a visual
representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
1. Align the holes on the solid-state drive and solid-state drive bracket.
2. Replace the single (M2x3) screw securing the solid-state drive and the solid-state drive bracket to form a solid-state drive
assembly.
3. Align the notch on the 2230 solid-state drive with the tab on the solid-state drive slot.
4. Place the solid-state drive assembly in the slot.
5. Place the thermal plate on the solid-state drive.
6. Replace the two (M2x3) screws that secure the thermal plate and solid-state drive to the palm-rest assembly.
Next steps
1. Install the microSD card.
2. Install the SIM card.
3. Install the base cover.
4. Exit Service Mode.
