Note: WPS does not support WEP network security or a hidden SSID network. If your existing WiFi network uses WEP security or its SSID is hidden, follow the instructions in Connect with the NETGEAR installation assistant on page 17. For MU-MIMO to function, WiFi clients must support MU-MIMO, and they must be connected to a 5 GHz WiFi band. -

AX1800 4-Stream WiFi 6 Mesh Extender Your settings are saved. Set up a guest WiFi network Guest networks allow visitors at your home to use the Internet without using your WiFi security key. You can add a guest network for the 2.4 GHz WiFi band and the 5 GHz WiFi band. - Page 35 • Network Name (SSID). The SSID is the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz guest WiFi network name. The default 2.4 GHz SSID is NETGEAR_GUEST_EXT. The default 5 GHz SSID NETGEAR-5G_Guest. To change the SSID, enter a 32-character (maximum), case-sensitive name in this field.
