Protect
Use this function to lock files to prevent accidental deletion.
1.
Turn the video camera on and ensure it is in Movie mode.
Press the Playback button and then press the MENU
button to display the Movie Playback menu.

Press the Navigation pad to select the PROTECT option.
Then playback screen appears again. Press the
Navigation pad to locate the file you want to protect and
press the Shutter button to confirm. A lock
displayed to show that the file is protected.
Note: To unlock a file, repeat the above steps. The lock icon
disappears when the file is unlocked.
3.
Press the MENU button again to exit the menu.
