SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS - Vea la sección apropiada en el manual amenos que

PROBLEMA CAUSA

CORRECCIÓN
1. Limpie/cambie el filtro de aire.
2. Llene el estanque de combus

y nueva.
5. Conecte el alambre a la bujía.
6. Cambie la bujía.

en la posición RÁPIDA.
1. Limpie/cambie el filtro de aire.
2. Limpiar debajo de la recortadora
y del cabezal de la
recortadora.
3. Revise el nivel del aceite.
4. Corte a una velocidad de
recorrido más lenta.
1. Controlar las líneas de la
recortadora.
2. Controlar toda la ferretería,
incluidos los pernos del motor.
3. Controlar/arreglar el cabezal de
la recortadora.

un otro centro de servicio

CAUTION: Disconnect spark plug wire
from spark plug and place wire where it
cannot come in contact with plug.
• Turn trimmer on its side. Make sure air
filter and carburetor are up. Clean the
underside of your trimmer by scraping
to remove build-up of grass and trash.
• Clean engine often to keep trash from
accumulating. A clogged engine runs
hotter and shortens engine life.

SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENTS

WARNING: To avoid serious injury,
before performing any service and
adjustments:
1. Stop engine.
2. Make sure the rotating lines and
all moving parts have completely
stopped.
3. Disconnect spark plug wire from spark
plug and place wire where it cannot
come in contact with plug.
TRIMMER
TO AD JUST TRIMMING HEIGHT
See "TO AD JUST TRIMMING HEIGHT" in
the Op er a tion sec tion of this manual.
TO ADJUST HANDLE
The upper handle may be adjusted to dif-
ferent height positions.
• Loosen handle knob only enough to
allow the upper handle to pivot to the
desired position.
• Tighten handle knob securely.
NOTE: The handle knob and bolt may be
reversed for left handed operation.

• Keep finished surfaces and wheels free
of all gasoline, oil, etc.
• We do not recommend using a garden
hose to clean trimmer unless the elec tri-
cal system, muffler, air filter and car-
buretor are covered to keep water out.
Water in engine can result in shortened
engine life.
TO REMOVE/REPLACE TRIMMER
HEAD DRIVE BELT
1. Remove screw at front of chassis cover.
2. Lift cover up and away from trimmer.
3. Remove the two (2) screws on sides of
trimmer securing the debris shield.

NOTE: Before tipping trimmer to replace
trimmer head drive belt, drain fuel tank by
running engine until fuel tank is empty.
4. Turn trimmer on its side with car bu re-
tor and fuel cap up.
5. Remove the two (2) screws on under-
side of trimmer securing the debris
shield.

6. Slide the debris shield rearward and
remove.
7. Remove belt from engine pulley on
crankshaft.
