CONTROLS
Settings
1. Release the backrest, and tilt it forward.
2. Fold the frame up until it engages.
3. Fold back and engage the rear seat back‐
rest.
Fold down the center section
1. Fold in the middle head restraint.
2. Reach into the recess and pull the middle
section forward.
Fold back the backrest
Fold up the backrest and press it into the latch.
Make sure that the safety belt is not pinched.
Variable cargo area
floor
Concept
With the variable cargo area floor, the cargo
area can be configured corresponding to trans‐
port requirements.

General information
Follow instructions on securing cargo, refer to
page 190.
Removing the cargo floor panel
1. Fold the rear part of the cargo floor panel
upward.
2. Grasp the cargo floor panel in the rear and
fold slightly upward.
3. Pull the cargo floor panel backward from
the brackets.
Proceed in the reverse order to reinstall the
cargo area floor.

WARNING
Improper use of the variable cargo floor
panel can lead to a danger of objects flying
about during braking and evasive maneuvers.
There is a risk of injury and risk of damage to
property.
