If an incorrect screw is used during the reassembly process, it can damage the unit.     Stand assembly Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 16). Position the computer with the rear cover toward you. CAUTION: Before positioning the computer with the display assembly facing down, make sure the work surface is clear of tools, screws, and any other foreign objects. Failure to follow this caution can result in damage to the display assembly.

Remove the screw covers (1) from the bottom of the display assembly. Remove the two slotted Phillips P2 screws (2) that secure the rear cover to the display assembly. Remove the rear cover (3) by detaching the bottom edge of the cover from the display assembly, and then swinging the bottom edge up and back until the rear cover rests upside down behind the display assembly.
