Cleaning the soleplate

• Unplug the iron. When the soleplate is slightly warm, wipe it with a soft
cloth.

If there is a problem

PROBLEM
Water drips from the
holes of the soleplate.
Brown streaks come
through the holes of the
soleplate and stain the
fabric.
The soleplate is dirty or
brown and is staining the
fabric.
There is little or no steam. The water tank is empty.
The soleplate is
scratched or damaged.
Steam or water comes
from the iron as you finish
filling the tank.
The spray button does
not spray water.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The chosen temperature is too low
and does not allow for the formation

SOLUTION
Position the temperature control dial in the
MAX
steam range (from •• to
