Initial Camcorder Setup

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
Make sure the batteries have been inserted properly into your digital camera, according to the polarity
shown on the battery holding frame.
Use 3 x AAA (1.5V) batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Batteries not included.
To Install the Batteries:
1) Slide open the battery compartment cover located on the front to the camcorder.
2) Insert 3 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment according to the correct polarities as shown
in the photo above.
3) Slide the battery compartment cover back into place to securely close the battery compartment.
Note:
 Remove the batteries from the camera when not in use for an extended period.
 Do not mix alkaline and non-alkaline batteries.
 Some features will not work if the battery power level is low.
 Rechargeable batteries not recommended.
 When the battery power is empty the battery icon turns red and 'Low Battery' flashes on the
LCD screen. The camcorder automatically turns off a few moments later.
 The energy status of the power is displayed on LCD as shown below:
