Front brake lever free play adjustment
NOTE:
Before adjusting the brake, inspect the front
brake shoes.
The front brake lever free play should be adjust-
ed to 5 – 8 mm at the brake lever pivot. If the
free play is incorrect, adjust it as follows.
1. Remove the front cover by removing the
screws and bolts. (See page 8-39 for instal-
lation and removal procedures.)
2. Remove the front fender by removing the
screws and bolts. (See page 8-39 for instal-
lation and removal procedures.)
