Connecting external devices
Display Port (performance docking cradle only)
The Display Port of the performance docking cradle can be used to connect a monitor,
an LCD TV or a plasma TV with a corresponding connection.
Some LCD televisions have only two speaker connections and therefore
cannot reproduce Dolby Digital or DTS. In order to reproduce the sound, you
must go into Windows and adjust the sound settings.
► To do this, deactivate the DTS Audio and Dolby Digital settings in the control
panel for the Realtek HDMI Output.
VGA monitor port (multifunctional cradle only)
An analog monitor is connected to the analog VGA monitor port. Screen output is
limited to a maximum of two screens at the same time.

screen of the Tablet PC, see
You can display the same image on the external monitor and on the LCD
screen of the Tablet PC at the same time.

► Connect the data cable to the
external device.
► Connect the data cable to the Display
Port of the cradle.
► Switch off the Tablet PC and the
external monitor.
► Plug the data cable of the external
monitor into the monitor port.
► First switch on the external monitor and
then switch on the Tablet PC.
