6. Insert the new Wi-Fi card into the M.2 Wi-Fi card slot. Ensure that the Wi-Fi card is inserted firmly. Then,
pivot the Wi-Fi card as shown so that the screw notch on the Wi-Fi card aligns with the mounting stud
on the system board.
Note: Do not touch the notched edge of the Wi-Fi card.

7. Install the screw to secure the Wi-Fi card to the system board, and then connect the Wi-Fi antenna
cables to the Wi-Fi card.

Replacing the PCI Express card

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the "Read
this first: Important safety information" on page iii .
To replace the PCI Express card, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 48.
3. Locate the PCI Express card. See "Computer components" on page 5 .
