LANE KEEPING ASSIST (LKA)

Lane Keeping Assist is designed to help
detect lane markings (or road edges)
while driving over a certain speed. The
system will warn the driver if the vehicle
leaves the lane without using the turn
signal, or will automatically assist the
driver's steering to help prevent the
vehicle from departing the lane.
With the engine on, press and hold the
Lane Driving Assist (
on the steering wheel to turn on Lane
Keeping Assist. The grey (
light will illuminate on the cluster. Press
and hold the button again to turn off the
system.
LKAS operates only when the vehicle
speed is above 40 mph and when the
LKAS indicator is green displayed in the
instrument cluster. LKAS will not operate
properly if the lane line is not clear,
sharp bend in the road, or in heavy fog.
Refer to the Owner's Manual for more
detailed information.
NOTE:
LKA Settings can be adjusted between warning only and
Active Assist in the User Settings page of the instrument cluster or
AVN Screen under Driving Assist.
