- Page 4 6. Once the test is complete, release the air pressure by depressing the pressure release valve on the hand pump hose, then disconnect the quick coupler and adapter assembly. 7. Maintenance – After testing process in Radiator Test: Keep the adapter connected to the pump as you had set up while performing the actual test. Operate the pump several times to dissipate moisture and/or coolant that may have remained in the adapter and pump.
