    Important safety instructions WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and personal injury. • Use this cooler only as described in this manual. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

    Intended use • The evaporative air cooler is not an air conditioner as it does not use a compressor or refrigerant gas. It should not be expected to cool as efficiently as a refrigerated air conditioner This product is intended to cool and humidify the air within the domestic environment.

Make sure to close the cover after replacing the Water Tank, or else the unit will not work. Note: It is normal for the air cooler to have a slight odour or for the water stored in the water tank to have a slight discoloration during first use.

    3. You may now use the control panel buttons to operate the cooler. Functions The new evaporative air cooler SY-CL420 integrates better cooling effect as it pumps the water and makes it flow from the inferior water tank to the top water tank, hence creating a better cooling effect.
