5.6 Light intensity measurement mode
• Hold the "Lx/Fc/CD" button for one second and the display will switch to light
intensity distance mode, where you can adjust the distance from the light
source (as shown in figura 5-6-1).
• Press the "RAN" button to switch between meters and feet (as shown in
figure 5-6-2).
• Press the "REL/PEAK" or "HOLD/ZERO" button to adjust the distance value,
long press to accelerate change.
• Hold the "Lx/Fc/CD" button to save the distance and the LCD display will
now show the measured light intensity measurement (as shown in figure
5-6-3).
• Press the "Lx/Fc/CD" button to return to illuminance measurement.
• Light intensity is calculated based on the following formula:
Light intensity (CD) = illuminance (Lx) * distance squared (m
• Light intensity measurement mode range: distance between 0.01~30.47m
or 0.01~99.99ft.
• If a single light source is used, the light instensity of the source can be set
to calculate and display the distance from the sensor.
